• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized data about your interactions with the service to improve performance and user experience. This includes events like file uploads and logins.
• File Metadata: We store non-sensitive metadata about your files, such as the original filename, size, and the recipient's email. The file content itself is always encrypted and inaccessible to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the SecureShare service.
• Authenticate your access to the service.
• Process subscription payments securely.
• Communicate important service-related notices.

3. Data Security (Zero-Trust)

We operate on a zero-trust model. Your files are encrypted on your device (end-to-end) before they are uploaded. We do not have the keys to decrypt your files, and therefore, cannot access their content. Only you and the intended recipient, who must authenticate, can decrypt the files.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers for essential functions like payment processing (e.g., PayPal), but only the data necessary for that function.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can delete your files at any time, which permanently removes them from our servers.
